What additional value does IAS offer its customers? Could you tell us about your vision and purpose, your distinctions, and the reasons you are favored?
IAS is a multinational technology corporation that provides industry-independent technological solutions. Our industrial technology solutions are adaptable, configurable, developable, simple to integrate, and easy to use. We are a forward-thinking corporation. We provide integrated technology that allows our customers to stay one step ahead of their competitors. We operate with the vision of Industry 4.0. Our objective is to be a corporation that creates technology rather than consumes it. We are a corporation that is at the forefront of our industry, setting trends in digital transformation. We have been functioning in accordance with our mission from the day we were formed through the activities we have done in the past and the initiatives we have attained in our sector. We launched TROIA, Turkey's first TUBITAK-supported, 100 percent local software development platform, in 1997. On this platform, we also created caniasERP, our enterprise resource planning software. At the same time, caniasERP is one of the world's first ERP systems that can be run in a browser. Back then, we gave our clients mobility and flexibility by providing both an ERP that could operate in a browser and a platform where they could create. In recent years, we have made a crucial step in this direction by creating our own database, iasDB. We began as an ERP corporation, but now offer numerous new solutions under our canias4.0 Technologies brand, including caniasERP, IoT, big data, AI (artificial intelligence), cloud, iasDB, our business intelligence solution caniasIQ, and e-Government integrations. Our new product Industrial Application Objects (IAO) was released, which will provide a whole new perspective to the industry as of November 2021. We also introduced our new software development strategy, which we believe will make a significant contribution to the software industry. We continue to innovate and create for our customers as well as our industry.
What were your IAS 2021 objectives, and were you able to meet them? Did they pass in accordance with your 2021 targets? In this light, how would you assess the year 2021 for your company?
We have spent the previous two years focusing on subjects like IoT, machine learning, and big data, which have risen to prominence with Industry 4.0. These are the subjects we have been working on for many years and we started to get the results of these activities in 2021. We have expanded the scope and quantity of projects we are working on. We have substantial cooperation with large multinational firms in our abroad activities. We saw the benefits of these efforts in 2021: Hyundai's new compact automobile began production in South Korea using Casper canias4.0 technology. Furthermore, as previously said, we were excited to announce our new software development process as well as our new product, IAO.
Could you please inform us about your 2022 objectives and investments?
This year, like in previous years, we want to continue our work without interruption and to increase our operations and staff. Our partner network allows us to operate in 36 countries, and our goods are offered in 16 languages. We now have offices and workers in South Korea, India, Dubai, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, and the United States. Our firm employs over 470 engineers. We intend to expand our sectors of business, our international and domestic offices, and the number of individuals we employ. I would like to say that we are having trouble employing software developers. However, we continue our search by collaborating with headhunter firms in Turkey and throughout the world. In terms of goods and services, we will continue to expand our work in the field of IoT this year, as well as our activities on artificial intelligence. Our new product IAO, as well as our new software development strategy, are significant advances forward in our activities on artificial intelligence. We will continue to work hard on this point in 2022.
Could you please tell us a little bit about your new product, Industrial Application Objects, as well as your new software development approach?
As you are aware, the breadth of technical innovations is expanding on a daily basis, and software is evolving into massive systems that are difficult to handle. With over 30 years of expertise, we created our new product Industrial Application Objects (IAO) as a significant step both for better managing this complexity and for future work. We used IAO to convert all modules in our enterprise resource planning application, caniasERP, into stand-alone objects. (Service Modules) It has evolved, together with all its internal components, into an object capable of surviving on its own in its own environment. Our users will have an object to work towards in both the updating and testing procedures. They are in harmony in way and target. We have designed objects that are capable of living individually and also operating independently of the medium by being fully integrated into the ERP. It comprises a strong structure of integration that can be incorporated into not only the objects within itself but also all required systems when needed. It is independent of the environment/platform. The objects that we mention are formed of a plurality of components. Database, user interface (UI), Selection Report, Functions, Test, Document, Transaction, BPM, IQ, Export, Import, Web Service, Integrity, and Rules/AI are some examples. With the IAO, our partners and customers will be able to add and build new functionality based on these objects. In the near and medium-term, we want to publish our IAO solution as a container on our own platform. You can think of this as a porter. While users are working on the objects, we will display all the components in the backend, from the smallest component to the server layer.
