IoT Product Manager of IAS İbrahim Tataroğlu who works on the project, summarizes the process and the work they plan to carry out as follows:
"After long-term technical and commercial negotiations, we signed a new contract with the United Nations Development Programme. As IAS, we will provide integrated and standardized solutions and technological infrastructure (hardware and software) in all selected Model Factories in Kayseri, Ankara, Konya and Bursa with the technologies we offer under the canias4.0 technologies brand. As IAS Company, we are changing the traditional and integration-based communication architecture with the technology and products we develop. With the integrated systems we offer, we minimize the energy that users will spend to sustain the systems. With our MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and IoT (Internet of Things) products, which work in harmony and in synchronization with ERP, we will ensure that the SMEs in our country learn the service we offer to our customers worldwide through Model Factories."
Stating that they will provide theoretical and experiential trainings on digital transformation as well as lean production services to SMEs, Tataroğlu says, "We will offer our core competencies and our own technologies in ERP, MES and IoT. We believe that this project will be an important start to transition from smart factories to light-out factories in our country. We offer solutions to the failures caused by the integration problem of transition from pilot application to the main system which is an important problem in the digital transformation journey of enterprises in the world with our integrated and synchronized products.
Within the scope of the project, we will also implement our caniasERP modules, energy management system and carbon footprint calculation applications. We plan to carry out the project work under the leadership of IAS Chairman Yaşar Hakan Karabiber together with Consultancy, Software Development, R&D, IAS Business Academy (IBA) and IoT Teams."
