IAS South Korea and its partner, Dfocus had started to work on the first phase of its project at Hyundai Motor Company & GwangJu Global Motors (GGM) as of 2020. The financial group modules, the project module, and the human resources modules became operational in 2021. The project was successfully completed in September 2021 by putting all the end-to-end manufacturing processes into actual usage concurrently with the plant. The Hyundai Casper, a new generation automobile built in South Korea employing the enterprise resource planning system caniasERP, which is supplied under canias4.0 technologies, has piqued the interest of both the country's prominent leaders and users. The successful project accomplished by GGM, a leading and multinational company in the automotive industry, with canias4.0 drew attention from Turkish press as well. IAS executives accompanied by IAS Chairman of the Board Yaşar Hakan Karabiber visited the GGM facility and thoroughly reviewed the project done there. According to IAS officials, similar initiatives in the same sector are intended to be completed in the future, with this project serving as a model.
The Hyundai Casper was released to the market in the compact SUV category with a 1000 cc engine capacity. Casper automobiles to be constructed in the Gwangju Global Motors facility on a yearly basis will have a capacity of 100,000 vehicles. The new generation of automobiles, released with the motto 'Case by Casper' and manufactured with innovative technology, also drew a lot of attention from users: It was stated that more orders were received on the day the automobile was released to the market compared to its quarterly manufacturing capacity. Hyundai was quite influenced by the positive feedback received by the automobile, which was referred to as the 'president's car' in the country and announced its plans to introduce the electrical version of Casper in 2023. Following a successful collaboration with IAS South Korea and its partner Dfocus, Hyundai GGM announced that the canias4.0 project will be used as a "Reference Project" for comparable business models in the South Korean market and other nations.
