İzmir Eğitim Sağlık Sanayi Yatırım AŞ (IMS Polymers), operating in the Turgutlu Organized Industrial Zone, developing and producing functional engineering plastics for many sectors, especially electrical-electronics, domestic appliances, automotive, energy, health, and construction sectors, has decided to run its business processes with canias4.0 technologies. The collaboration between IAS and IMS Polymers was announced at a kick-off meeting held at the company's factory in Turgutlu. The roadmaps and future plans of the caniasERP project were discussed at the meeting, which was led by IAS Consulting Manager Anıl Küçük, IAS Sales Manager Erşan Ük, and IMS Polymers General Manager E. Metin Taştan. In order to develop university-industry cooperation and to carry out product design activities, IMS Polymers, which started with its R&D office in the ideEGE technopark building within Ege University in January 2015, stated that they will include the R&D office in the caniasERP project in the future. E. Metin Taştan, General Manager of IMS Polymers, whom we met at the kick-off meeting, shared the information on the ERP search processes and the collaboration they began with IAS: "The previous software we used got us to a certain point. We continued our activities without any problems. However, as our company has grown and our needs have become more diverse, our current software has become insufficient. That's why we searched for a new software. We have new paths ahead of us, and we wanted a software that helps us along the way and keeps up with our development."
Taştan said, “IAS came up as a result of our research while I was looking for ERP solution alternatives. Reassuring sectoral experience, competent staff and successful projects and influential references formed important parameters for us in the selection process. Furthermore, when we compared prices and performance, we found that the most ideal solution for us is canias4.0 technologies. In addition to all these, the fact that it is a software developed by Turkish engineers has been a very important factor for us. We are a company that cares about this issue. We support the priority preference of the products produced in our country. The fact that software developed here is used in many parts of the world and has found a home in important industry and technology centers is also a source of proud for us."
